Julianne is the inspiring owner and practicing optometrist at Eyecare Plus Buderim.

Julianne’s passion for optometry started way back in high school when she had the opportunity to complete work experience with a local optometrist. It was in that experience that she developed a deep appreciation for eyes and the astounding impact that eyes and vision can have on our lives. After all, they are the lens through which our lives unfold.  There's no second chance for our eyes. No transplants, no substitutes, just a singular gift deserving of utmost care.

After completing a Bachelor of Optometry through The University of Melbourne, Julianne ventured towards the Sunshine Coast, where she embraced her aspirations and purchased an optometry business to call her own – Eyecare Plus Optometrists. A dream realised, Julianne witnessed her practice flourish into a successful business with eye care excellence at the heart. If you ask Julianne, she will undoubtedly tell you that this has been a career highlight. 

There is one myth that Julianne would like to debunk, the myth that glasses equate to aging. As a staunch believer that style knows no age, she champions eyewear as a reflection of personality, not a limitation. And she would know, she boasts EIGHT pairs of glasses, each for a varying mood or feeling or use.
